The Barking Foundation is a private, non-profit foundation that provides grants for accredited post-secondary education of meritorius State of Maine residents, based on their demonstrated financial need.

Maine residents with financial need pursuing accredited degree programs in undergraduate educational institutions are eligible. The Barking Foundation is an equal opportunity grantor. NO one will be denied a grant because of affectional orientation, veteran’s status, gender, religion, age or physical ability.

Grants are awarded in the Spring of each year and they vary in number from year to year. Grants are made for one academic year and are paid directly to the degree-granting institution. For more information, please click here to go to our FAQ page.
